Why the Ice Bucket Challenge is Stupid

With summer gone at least I won’t have to see more of the “Ice-Bucket Challenge.” Even though it appears to be noble for spreading awareness for Lou Gehrig’s Disease, or ALS, it’s stupid because dumping ice water on yourself isn’t going to promote the cure for ALS, but funding and donating money WILL.
As pictured, children and adults in poorly-developed countries DIE because they don’t have the access to clean water which we are abusing for a stupid fad. In fact, dehydration and drinking contaminated water kills more people and kills faster than Lou Gehrig’s Disease, even if it’s not happening in America, it is still a very important issue to mind as well.
